Fifth annual Grantham Prize Seminar showcased 2010 Grantham Prize winners, featured panel discussion about news coverage of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill

 

The 2010 Grantham Prize Seminar on the State of Environmental Journalism  began with presentations by  the 2010 Grantham Prize winner and  Award of Special Merit recipients. The winners reminded the audience that coverage of environmental topics takes commitment and a creative narrative, and their remarks sparked a lively discussion with the seminar audience. The seminar concluded with a panel discussion about the news coverage of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The seminar was recorded and will be available here soon.
