Dinah Voyles Pulver covers droughts, floods in Daytona Beach

Days after covering a period of crippling drought, Dinah Voyles Pulver found herself explaining the mechanics of flooding that ruined or damaged more than 2,000 structures in Daytona Beach.
Pulver meticulously covered a drought earlier this summer that had officials scrambling to protect against drinking water shortages. Then rain started falling on May 17 and continued for five days.
Her article on the recent flooding, Anatomy of Disaster, sparked discussion among readers who were affected by the flooding.
